As I've said before, I am always excited about Maker Faire. This year, their staff managed to send out the press info to the vendors enough in advance that I was able to arrange an interview with the people from SparkFun!
My first soldering project was their MintyBoost kit, which I learned at Maker Faire Austin in 2007. They do much, much more than make kits, however. Indeed, one of the company's goals is to educate people in the understanding and creation of electronics.
Keith and I had an opportunity to hang out with them before the taping. Nathan, Lindsey, and AnnDrea were very easy to be around. We had a good time.
