"What's Up Wit' That?" thoughts

This is a rather embarrassing episode for me. I had arranged to interview Dr. Don Chu earlier during the Aquamaids show. He is their sports medicine expert, who specializes in plyometrics. We consulted our calendars that day to come up a special date that matched his schedule. Unfortunately, I did not follow up properly to remind him. The day came and I had questions, but there was no guest. I also discovered that I had no good way of getting a hold of Dr. Chu. Argh. :(

We wandered about what we could do about finding a replacement guest with no extra time. Finally, we decided to accede to Keith's wishes and do a show about "What's Up Wit' That?" So Andrew and I sat and exchanged anecdotes about various things we'd done in the past for the show. I have a little trepidation about editing the show because I really hate watching myself. I may have to sit through our self-indulgent stories, but at least we got a show out of it.

Dr. Chu called a few days later to confirm the taping, and I broke the bad news to him. I got his number, though, so I can reschedule him in the future.
