In October of 2002, Gwen Araujo, a transgender teen in California's east bay was killed at a party by several of her friends who were unaware she was born male after these friends had sexual relations with her. Andrew talks about the case, Gwen's life, the trial of the perpetrators (who have since been convicted of her murder), and issues facing transgender teens today.
Andrew discusses hip-hop and urban dance with Jazon and Becky, two members of a local dance studio. They and other members also perform several hip-hop dance routines.
Andrew talks to Dushan Angius about the Rotary International AIDS Project. Dushan's son died of AIDS several years ago, and Dushan went on to create an ongoing project within Rotary organizations worldwide to educate and aid people about AIDS.
